Sui Ge takes Yi Xiao to his mother’s residence in the woods and acknowledges his promise to Yi Xiao, granting her freedom now that she’s uncovered who tried to kill her. He then heads to meet with the Emperor to get justice for Yi Xiao, who was targeted by the Empress.
