Conan and Kogoro are attending a wedding. Kogoro met the groom's father at a bar where he's a regular and ended up receiving an invitation. Also attending the wedding are staff including the wedding planner and priest, as well as the couple's friends. The ceremony begins, and just as the bride enters the chapel, she begins choking and loses consciousness. Upon seeing her pain, the people in attendance say ominous things such as "she got what she deserved" and "this wedding was cursed."
