Melissa's death triggers a deep crisis in the District. Especially in Alessandro, who feels responsible. After solving a mysterious murder case in which a fortune teller was the victim, however, news arrives that Melissa did not commit suicide: perhaps there is a clue to start again. While Giulio Flaviano suffers from withdrawal, our heroes discover that the morphine used by Irene's killers is purchased thanks to a stolen prescription pad, therefore recognizable: they just have to wait for them to go back to do the "shopping". In the meantime, they have to solve the case of a girl who disappeared 12 years earlier and was found in a coma in a wood.
