Rachel suggests a hiding place for 2:00 AM, where he sees a mysterious coffin.

Judith offers her condolences to Trask. Dirk attacks Tim, Judith and Rachel.

Turk tells Barnabas he must bring Laura back to life. Dirk forces Judith to shoot Rachel.

Edward follows Judith to the abandoned cellar and discovers that Dirk's coffin is hidden there.

Gregory Trask is forced to absolve Tim of guilt for Minerva's murder. Carl hears Pansy's voice in the graveyard.

Magda returns with a mysterious box containing the hand of Count Petofi, which she says has magical powers.

Quentin locks Carl in the secret room of the Collins mausoleum, where Barnabas' coffin is located.

Barnabas suspects that Carl has revealed his secret. Trask accuses Barnabas of murder.

Barnabas finds his coffin chained and protected by a cross. He commands Charity to hide him in the school.

Trask tries to use Charity to trap Barnabas period as Barnabas is about to bite Charity, Nora appears.

The hand of Count Petofi is used to perform the procedure on charity. Evan Hanley confronts Barnabas.

In an attempt to take control of the Collins family and wealth, Trask persuades Judith to marry him.

Edward is horrified that Judith has altered her will. Magda uses Petofi's hand hoping to cure Quentin.

The gypsy named Julianka tells Barnabas she has come to end the curse in return for the hand.

Aristede sets in motion a curved blade which will kill Quentin unless Aristede can get Petofi's hand.

In the woods, Julianka the gypsy is found dead with a strange mark on her forehead.

The spirit of Julianka appears but refuses to help and lays a curse on Magda for stealing the hand.

Following Sandor's death, Magda learns that Quentin's son has also died.

Petofi's hand reappears to Magda. Aristede enlists Tim Shaw's help in regaining the hand.

Victor explains that he once owned the hand of Petofi. Magda soon realizes that he is Count Petofi.

After Petofi leaves Collinwood, it is discovered that Jamison Collins has been possessed by him.

Beth Chavez appears to be under the influence of Barnabas, but he denies calling her.

Charles Delaware Tate arrives to paint Quentin's portrait. Charity thinks she is Pansy Faye.

Trask is tricked into signing a confession that he killed his wife Minerva.

As Charity look at Quentin's portrait, its features change to look like those of a wolf.

Aristede reveals that Tate's artistic talents were a special gift from Petofi.

Jamison finds the book of the Collins family history and asks Magda how Barnabas travelled through time.

A woman attacked by the werewolf dies. Charity accuses Quentin of being the murderer.

Aristede's medallion fails to cure Quentin's daughter Lenore. Magda summons a spirit to help.

At Trask's suggestion, the possessed Edward begins to strangle Quentin.

Tim returns to town with Amanda Harris, along with a box containing the hand of Count Petofi.

Jamison, desperate to find the hand, forces the truth from Nora, who has hidden it for Tim.

Barnabas brings the hands to Aristide. Petofi soon recovers and his hand is reattached.

Petofi says he will cure Jamison if Barnabas will reveal the secret of his travel through time.

Petofi causes Jamison to become possessed by the spirit of David Collins.

Quentin and Beth try to free Barnabas but are unable to overcome Count Petofi's powers.

Tate has finished the portrait of Quentin and realizes that Quentin is the werewolf.

Charity sees a vision which alarms Petofi. He causes her to believe she is Pansy Faye.

The gypsy king, Johnny Romano, arrives looking for the hand of Petofi.

Keane Johnny takes Magda to the gypsy camp and accuses her of counterfeiting the hand.

Tate sees the brooch Amanda is wearing and recognizes her as the woman he painted.

Charity drugs Beth to prevent her from going to the gypsies.

Quentin releases Barnabas and Istvan the gypsy seizes Magda.

Magda stands trial in the Collins Mausoleum. Istvan indicates the death sentence.

King Johnny binds Petofi and prepares to cut off his hand.

Angelique agrees to try and end Petofi's spell.

Charity has a vision of Quentin dead in the tower room.

Armed with a gun containing silver bullets, Trask waits for the werewolf to emerge.

Trask is the intended victim of Angelique's spell. Petofi arrives with a mysterious portrait.

Quentin does not change when the full moon rises, but discovers his portrait has changed instead.

Tate is shocked when he sees his portrait of Quentin now depicts the image of the wolf.

Edward imprisons Barnabas, but cannot bring himself to shoot the vampire.

In 1969, the ghost of Beth explains to Julia how Quentin originally died in 1897.

Petofi prevents Beth from shooting Quentin, but Quentin must pay a price for his help.

Julia agrees to stay in 1897 and try to cure Barnabas of his vampirism.

Petofi forces Julia to tell him about I Ching. He uses them and goes into a trance.

Barnabas learns were Julia is being held captive. Aristede tricks him into shooting her.

Angelique agrees to help Barnabas defeat Petofi.

Tate tells Tim of creating a man by drawing him and timid kidnaps the creation.

Lady Kitty Soames arrives to visit Edward. Barnabas recognizes her as the image of Josette.

Charity follow Quentin into a cave and discovers a coffin with Barnabas inside.

Edward orders Barnabas' is coffin be chained and the cave be sealed.

Quentin asks Amanda to marry him and leave Collinsport immediately.

Tate learns that Amanda and Quentin love each other. He steals Quentin's portrait.

Petofi discovers he must have a body to inhabit if he is to reach the future.

Quentin is delayed leaving with Amanda when he learns his portrait is missing.

Angelique threatens Quentin unless he agrees to return to Collinwood with her.

Kitty dreams of Angelika bringing gifts from a suitor, and finds them at her bed when she awakens.

Kitty seems to become Josette. Petofi gives Quentin a ring with special powers.

Petofi demonstrates his powers by blinding Quentin and then curing him.

Quentin plays the piano for Charity, but then tells her he could never play the piano.

Petofi's mind has taken over Quentin's body so that Petofi can have a body to inhabit in 1969.

Aristede finds a woman, Wanda Paisley, on whom Petofi may test the I Ching wands.

In 1897, Julia hears voices from the present. Angelique is puzzled by Quentin's behavior.

In Petofi's body, Quentin orders Kitty to steal Quentin's portrait. Quentin's wedding is set.

Angelique decides her marriage must be postponed. In a seance, charity calls upon a spirit to appear.

Judith returns to Collinwood from the sanitarium. Dressed as Josette, Kitty visits Jeremiah Collins' grave.

Quentin convinces Evan that his mind is in Petofi's body. They pretend to hold a ceremony.

Petofi forces Evan to dig a grave. Gregory Trask learns that Judith is back and making new plans.

Angelika visits a mysterious cave. Charity tells Angelique that Quentin is not who he appears to be.

Quentin, whose mind remains in Petofi's body, explains the mind switch to Angelique.

Petofi enters the I Ching trance and moves through the door to the Collinwood of the present.

Petofi demands that Barnabas return the portrait of Quentin. Kitty realizes she is Josette.

Kitty is terrified of what will happen if she becomes Josette. Beth discovers the mind switch.

Using Petofi's Power, Quentin attempts to reverse the mind switch.

Quentin, whom Aristede believes is Petofi, orders Aristede to stab Petofi, whom Aristede believes is Quentin.

Petofi recalls Aristede being pursued by Garth Blackwood, a sadistic prison master from England.
